Watkins, MN; Vancouver, BC March 7, 2006 - International Barrier Technology Inc. (the “Company”) (IBTGF: OTCBB; IBH: TSXV) announces that, it has granted stock options to consultants of the Company, in the aggregate amount of 120,000 common shares in the capital stock of the Company, at a price of US$0.69 per share exercisable up to and including March 6, 2008.
