Accumulated amortization for capitalized software development costs was $1,873,000 and $987,000 at September 30, 2016 and December 31, 2015, respectively. Amortization expense for capitalized software development costs was $260,000 and $178,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2016 and 2015, respectively, and $838,000 and $443,000 for the nine months ended September 30, 2016 and 2015, respectively. Amortization expense for capitalized software development costs is recorded within cost of revenue on the consolidated statements of operations.
