6. MEDICARE PART D

We cover prescription drug benefits in accordance with Medicare Part D under multiple contracts with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS. The condensed consolidated balance sheets include the following amounts associated with Medicare Part D as of June 30, 2012 and December 31, 2011. The risk corridor settlement includes amounts classified as long-term because settlement associated with the 2012 provision will exceed 12 months as of June 30, 2012.
